About the role

Lead onsite commercial construction work in Manhattan and the surrounding New York area through this full-time RevCats opportunity. Projects include office fit-outs, renovations, facility improvements, repairs, corrective work, and specialized assignments in occupied commercial buildings.

Compensation

$115,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience and responsibility. Compensation above this range may be considered for an exceptional candidate.

Responsibilities

- Oversee active commercial job sites, workmanship, manpower, progress, and schedules.

- Coordinate trades, subcontractors, labor, materials, and project sequencing.

- Conduct site and client walkthroughs and identify practical solutions to field issues.

- Communicate with clients, building representatives, field crews, subcontractors, and company leadership.

- Keep work moving toward client deadlines and resolve punch-list and closeout items.

- Adapt to fit-out, repair, compliance, facility, and one-off construction assignments.

Required qualifications

- At least 10 years of construction industry experience, including commercial construction and office interiors or fit-outs.

- Experience supervising subcontractors and multiple trades.

- Working knowledge of framing, drywall, finishing, electrical, HVAC, and related commercial construction activities.

- Strong construction sequencing, scheduling, communication, and organizational skills.

- Experience working directly with commercial clients and building representatives.

- Ability to assess conditions, troubleshoot problems independently, make sound field decisions, and escalate issues appropriately.

- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites during the workday.

Location and schedule

Most projects are in Manhattan, with occasional work in Jersey City and other regional locations. This is an onsite field role. Night and weekend work may be required when occupied buildings or client deadlines require work outside normal office hours.
