About the role

Support commercial real estate closings and transactions in this onsite, contract-to-hire role in Charleston, South Carolina. Three positions are available.

Compensation and employment terms

$35/hour W2 during the contract period; $80,000 annual salary upon full-time conversion after six months. Excellent benefits are offered. Candidates must be open to both contract and full-time employment; contract-only applicants will not be considered.

Responsibilities

- Working under attorney direction, support commercial real estate closings

- review titles and surveys

- revise and review lease amendments, non-disturbance agreements, and related documents

- organize and maintain files

- and prepare closing documents.

Required qualifications

- 3+ years of extensive commercial real estate paralegal experience

- title and survey experience

- strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills

- excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to work independently. Four-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred

- paralegal certification is preferred.
