A Tampa law firm is hiring a full-time Insurance Defense Legal Assistant for its construction liability insurance defense practice. This is an onsite, direct-hire position in Tampa, Florida, with salary up to $66,000 based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.

Support attorneys with scheduling hearings, depositions and mediations, tracking discovery and trial deadlines, preparing court filings, maintaining case records, processing invoices, opening files and coordinating with clients, opposing counsel and vendors.

Requires at least five years of relevant experience and first-party or third-party insurance coverage experience. A bachelor's degree is not required.
